CuteMesh.com Vendor Payment Processing Policy

Applies To: All vendors on CuteMesh.com Marketplace, Auction, Freelance/Services, Jobs, Events, Rentals, Grocery, and Gift Card modules.

1. Overview

This policy outlines how payments are processed for vendors on CuteMesh.com. It covers payment gateways, e-wallet use, transaction fees, payout schedules, and how exchange rates and gift card pricing are handled.

CuteMesh.com uses Paystack as its primary third-party payment processor and offers an integrated E-Wallet system for flexible vendor payouts and internal transactions.

2. Payment Processing Channels

2.1 Paystack

• All card, bank transfer, and mobile money payments from buyers are securely processed via Paystack.
  
• Paystack ensures transaction safety, real-time authorization, and compliance with local financial regulations.

2.2 CuteMesh E-Wallet

• Vendors automatically receive earnings into their CuteMesh E-Wallet.
  
• Vendors can:
  
  • Accumulate balance for reinvestment or purchases on the platform.
    
  • Request withdrawal to a linked bank account or mobile money wallet.

3. Pricing and Currency Exchange

• All product and service prices (except gift cards) are tied to exchange rates, which are updated daily using live market data.
  
• The exchange rate applicable at the time of buyer purchase is locked in for that transaction.
  
• Gift cards are always sold at face value and not subject to currency exchange fluctuations.

4. Transaction Fees

CuteMesh.com deducts transaction fees before payout to vendors. These fees support secure payment processing, buyer protection, and platform operations.

Note: Paystack’s third-party processing fee is already factored into CuteMesh’s platform fee. Vendors are not charged twice.

5. Payout Schedule

Vendor earnings are first credited to their E-Wallet. Withdrawals from the wallet to a vendor’s preferred payout method follow the schedule below.

Holding periods ensure order verification, delivery confirmation, and fraud prevention.

6. Withdrawal Methods

Payouts from the E-Wallet can be transferred to:

• Bank Account (via Paystack)
  
• Mobile Money Wallet (where supported)
  
• Retain in E-Wallet for purchases, ad payments, or subscription fees on CuteMesh.com

7. Payment Confirmation and Reporting

• Vendors can track all transactions in their Vendor Dashboard under “Earnings” and “Transactions”.
  
• Reports include:
  • Gross sale
    
  • Exchange rate applied
    
  • Platform fees deducted
    
  • Refunds (if any)
    
  • Net payout amount

8. Refunds, Disputes, and Chargebacks

• Approved refunds are deducted from vendor E-Wallet or upcoming payouts.
  
• In case of chargebacks due to vendor fault (e.g., undelivered goods), the disputed amount will be withheld until resolved.
  
• Vendors are encouraged to resolve buyer issues via the Resolution Center to avoid penalties.

9. Gift Card Specific Rules

• Sold at face value only, with no currency conversion..

10. E-Wallet Benefits

• Instant balance updates upon sale
  
• No external payment delays.
  
• Can be used to:
  • Subscribe to promotions and ads
    
  • Pay platform fees
    
  • Shop as a buyer on CuteMesh.com

11. Policy Violations & Withholds

We may withhold or delay payouts in the following cases:

• Suspicion of fraud or manipulation
  
• Incomplete KYC verification
  
• Customer complaints or chargebacks
  
• Violation of CuteMesh.com policies or laws

12. Taxes and Legal Compliance

• Vendors are solely responsible for complying with local tax regulations.
  
• CuteMesh may provide downloadable earning statements for personal or corporate tax filing.
