How to add pictures to a product listing.

Although product images aren’t strictly required for your product listings, we highly recommend adding them. How to add add images to a new product listing:

  1. Log into your ↗ Vendor dashboard.
  2. Click the Sell Grocery & Products or List Rentals & Booking or Sell by Auction tab on the left menu, depending on what type of product listing you would like to create.
  3. Then click on the Add New Product button in the top right corner.
  4. On the new page that opens, click the Upload product image button in the top left corner to upload the main product image.
  5. Select or upload your main product image, then click the Set featured image button in the bottom right corner.
  6. Click the plus icon located underneath the main image to upload additional images.
  7. Select or upload your additional images, then click the Add to gallery button in the bottom right corner.
  8. Add the rest of the product details and click Create product.

Media library

Once you have added your first picture, you will have the option to reuse that picture whenever you want. It will be stored in your own personal “Media Library”. Instead of reusing a picture from your media library, you can choose to upload a new one by clicking the Upload files tab at the top of the page.

Tip: Main images should feature the product on a clean, white background. Additional images should consist of in-context or lifestyle photographs of your product, illustrating how they are used or what they look like in someone’s hands. This helps boost emotional engagement, because the potential customer can see how the product is used and start to imagine how they would use it. It is important to remember that in-context photos should enhance, and not detract, from the product itself. Learn how to take the best pictures here.
