How can I remove reviews?

Chances are, you’re going to receive a negative review at some point. It’s simply impossible to receive only 5 star reviews. But this doesn’t mean you should delete the negative reviews! Customer reviews, whether positive or negative, should always be acknowledged.

Negative reviews can have a positive impact on your store, depending on how you handle them. They present you with the opportunity to show off your excellent customer service in a public space. It will also be a learning curve for your business and highlight where you can improve. You never want to leave customers feeling dissatisfied with their purchase or the service they received – your goal is to resolve the issue while keeping your reputation intact. Ignoring the review, or deleting it, won’t resolve anything. Read this article for tips for responding to reviews.

However, we understand that there may be certain situations in which you might want to delete a review. Usually it is for one of two reasons: 1) you are 100% certain that the review is fake, or 2) it contains excessively profane language. Even in these cases, it is never really acceptable to delete a review. It is best to mark the questionable review as spam instead of deleting it. A deleted review will most likely result in a customer outraged at the fact that their feedback has been silenced. Once customers have left you reviews, you will be able to view them in the ↗ Reviews tab of your Vendor dashboard (read more info here). If you would like to remove the review by reporting it as spam, follow these steps.
