Viewing & responding to reviews.

A review is feedback offered by a customer regarding a product or service that they have purchased or experienced. It’s a means of providing your customers with a voice, which allows them to meaningfully contribute towards your business. Customers want to be heard, and they want to hear what other customers have to say. Almost all customers seek out reviews from others before making a purchase, in order to help them make an informed decision. This is because reviews help establish a business’s trust, and filter out businesses that have a terrible reputation. Reviews can also highlight improvements that you could make to your business. Therefore, make sure that collecting, displaying and responding to reviews are priorities for you. customers can leave reviews of your products and reviews of your store. This feedback consists of a 1 – 5 star rating and a comment, which can be positive, neutral or negative. This powerful social proof drives sales, increases your trustworthiness, influences buying choices, impacts sales – all of which are incredibly important for your store’s growth! It is generally recommended that you respond to reviews (even the negative ones) but you could develop a business strategy that prefers not to respond. The choice is yours. Product reviews

If you would like customers to be able to leave a review of your product, tick the “Enable product reviews” checkbox in the “Other Options” section when editing a product listing. If you don’t want to enable product reviews, simply leave the box unchecked.

If enabled, customers can submit product reviews on the product listing page. They can do this by scrolling to the reviews section, selecting their star rating, writing their comment and then clicking Submit. Only logged in customers that have purchased the product can leave a product review.

Once customers have left you reviews, the ↗ Reviews tab of your Vendor dashboard is where you can view and respond to them. For more info, read this article.

Store reviews

Customers are able to leave their feedback regarding your store for other customers to read. They can do this by visiting the reviews section of your store and clicking the Write review button. They will then be given the option to select their star rating, give their review a title and writing their feedback. Only a customer that has actually bought from your store can leave a review. Each customer can only post one review per store, and you cannot edit or moderate their review. If for some reason you need to report the review, you can do so by following these instructions. The higher the star rating, the better the store is. The best and most reputable stores have high ratings of 4-5 out of 5. This provides customers with an indication of the overall ordering experience and the level of service you provide.
