Settings – RMA.
The ↗ RMA tab of your Vendor dashboard is where you can configure your store’s default RMA settings. A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is a part of the process of returning a product to receive a refund, replacement, or repair during the product’s warranty period. Depending on the settings, customers can request for the replacement of the bought product, a full or a partial refund, or request a refund as store credit. For more info about return requests, read this article. You can create ↓ default and ↓ individual warranties.

Creating default warranties
To allow customers to return products, you need to configure your store’s default RMA settings. These settings will apply to all of your product listings. You can choose from three types of warranties to offer to your customers. Types of warranties:
- No Warranty: The customer can’t return the item and the RMA policy should say something along those lines.
- Warranty Included: The warranty is included with the product purchase. “Length” defines whether the warranty is for a Limited time or Lifetime, which you select from a drop-down menu. “Lifetime” means the warranty lasts forever. If you select “Limited” warranty, the “Length Value” is the exact number of Days, Weeks, Months or Years that the warranty lasts for, and the “Length Duration” means whether the warranty duration is for Days, Weeks, Months or Years.
- Warranty as Add-On: The customer can purchase a warranty for an additional cost. Once you select this option, you are able to set various costs and durations for various warranties.

Warning: Ensure that your RMA policy complies with all applicable laws. Although you may want to reduce the number of return requests you receive, many customers are entitled to make such requests. Create a policy that is fair for everyone.
